How I Got Free Pasta Today
I was taking a stroll in the food area of a shopping mall to scout for a place for lunch today. I had looked at most of the weekday lunch set menus of most restaurants there; I had also checked out all of the food available at the shopping mall’s food court.
While I was walking to the last restaurant that was closest to the entire food court to check out their menu, a staff member of the shopping mall suddenly stopped me and asked,
“Would you like free pasta? We are giving out free pasta.”
“… What?”
“Yes, our shopping mall is doing a promotional campaign where we pay for people’s lunch on Fridays. We’re now giving out free dishes of Soft-shell Crab Spaghetti in Truffle Cream Sauce. All you need to do is take a picture of the plate of pasta and post it to your Instagram with this handle of the shopping mall and this hashtag,” she said, pointing at a promotional card.
I immediately said yes.
I was promptly seated and was told that the free pasta dish came with a complimentary drink. I ordered an Iced Americano.
