I Was Told To Draw A Pig For A Personality Test And Now I Am Pissed

I needed to attend a “personality” workshop recently.

I was told, by the speaker, who was pointing at her PowerPoint slides, to draw a pig.

I implore you — in fact, I dare you — to go get a piece of paper and a pencil to draw a pig now.

Then you will know exactly how I felt as I learnt the results.

Top: positive and optimistic
Middle:
a realist
Bottom:
pessimistic

Oh, we are in for another BS personality test, are we? Just like how so many people say that a random date and some stars in the sky can surely let us know someone’s disposition without knowing them in person? That how some buttons on a site that generate four letters at the end can tell me which “type” I am and determine, without mistake, how I react to any situation?

As a realist, I drew the pig on the top left-hand corner to save space on the piece of paper so that I might jot some emergency notes. But am I a realist? Nope. Apparently, I am an “optimist”, who is about to write a rant about this ridiculous test.
